I liked the product and the price

I liked the product and the price. But the description says the GM Air Lift Shock is what I needed for the Tahoe 02 electronically controlled front shocks. But when I received the layoffs, based on that description, there was nowhere to go. So in order to use the shocks I ordered I would need to order a sensor adapter to keep my ride control gauge off.

2002 Tahoe with shocks

Received it after confirming it was a 2002 Tahoe with RPO zw7 and G65 smooth suspension (no air compressor) and 4x4 on the AC Delco website. Two wheel drive seems to use a different part number (cheaper of course), but I don't know what the difference is. A more stable ride and less nose-dive under hard braking. Should have been replaced 50,000 miles ago, but unless you have obviously blown shocks, gradual wear creeps in.

Purchased recently for my 02 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 code ZW7. They match this vehicle exactly after checking the ACDelco website with the vehicle's VIN. Put them on today and have to say it's a day and night ride! My Tahoe has 176,000 miles and most likely had original front shocks. Drives great! The steering seems more rigid. No more tapping on a hard bump. While I'm very pleased, I'm thinking of swapping out the rear end one day. We hope the information in this review answers any questions others…

Shock Absorber OEM Match Percentage

Replaced front shock absorbers complete with OEM parts. They are easy to install, it takes a lot of penetrating oil and a back and forth to remove the old upper shock bolt. The lower ones were more direct. New parts come with new upper shock absorbers and lower bolts and nuts. New shocks are shipped unstretched and uncompressed, so you may need to manually compress them during installation. The ride after installation was very good. I chose these factory parts because I only changed the front…

Fits 2002 gmc yukon 5.3slt, no electrical connectors OEM

Not an exact replacement, they are missing the electrical pin at the top to connect the wiring harness Style set up. What I did do was cut off the threaded portion of the connector on both of the old shocks after I removed them. then reconnected them to the seat belts, tried using the zip ties to keep them about level and keep them dry, it seems to work, there is no airbag service message and the air suspension works as it should. They are the right size and fit my 2002 5.3 liter Yukon exactly.

2004 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4 NIVOMAT ZW7 FRONT SHOCK ABSORBERS

I bought them (sold one, no set of two for the list price of 124.99) in addition to two rear shock absorbers (at 256.99 each) for my 2004 GMC Yukon SLT 4X4. My shocks are self-leveling suspension code Nivomat ZW7 as listed on the glove box code sheet. The dealer wanted to more than double the price of each of these shock absorbers. O installed them using hand tools, a 20-year-old Sears jack, and an air compressor jackhammer from a household store. It wasn't difficult and took about three hours…
