ACDelco 55597008 Thermostat Assembly Review

This thermostat easily fit into my engine and has improved my car's heating and cooling system. It operates more efficiently than my old thermostat, which saves me money and helps the environment. The only downside is that it is more expensive than other thermostats on the market.

Good price, very easy to install if you have the right tool. A torx wrench is required to remove the fasteners. Very poor design by GM, there is no known reason why a heater thermostat often fails. Second out of less than 100,000

You will not find this part at your local parts store. Thank god for Revane. That's about half the price you would pay at the dealer. Cannot give this one 5 stars as it is the same as the original factory thermostat which failed after less than 3 years and just over 100,000 miles. But it's better than the generic thermostat I bought from rockauto.com which failed after only 4 months and froze when closed causing the car to overheat and leaving my wife stranded on the side of the road in the…
