Description of 🌬️ ACDelco GM Original Equipment CF140 Cabin Air Filter: Premium Filtration for Fresh In-car Air

Equipped with long media in the non-woven material/compound media in order to capture more particles while increasing air flow. Has compound media that consists of three layers in which the outside layer captures 100% of large airborne particles, the middle layer captures smaller particles, and the final layer provides strength and stability. Has a layered construction that creates 'separated' media in order to better contain dust and pollen particles, resulting in higher efficiency. Some ACDelco GM Original Equipment parts may have formerly appeared as GM Genuine Parts (OE) or ACDelco Professional. ACDelco GM Original Equipment parts are designed, engineered and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. GM Engineers design and validate OE parts specifically for your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac vehicle. GM regularly updates production and service part designs to integrate new materials and technologies.

very easy to install and has a built in bezel.

All those years without a filter. Mom bought the car new and never had a cabin filter. I looked back years but I needed some kind of framework so I didn't chase it. This filter fits easily. 2 minutes total and has a built in frame. I look forward to better air quality in the 2004 Buick Lesabre.

Pros
  • Trial year
Cons
  • Nothing here

Matches my 2005 Buick LeSabre perfectly

I just bought a 2005 Buick LeSabre and noticed that it has a hole for access to the cabin air filter. This was a dealer installed option on this car but the original owner never did it. AC Delco CF140 is exactly what you need. The filter contains a plastic frame that slides in and snaps into place. The entire installation took less than two minutes. If at some point the filter needs to be replaced, the Delco CF138 (only) AC filter will put it straight into action.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • New competition is here

The plastic case fits a 2003 Lesabre.

There are many reviews and several videos on U-tubes that say you have to take it out of the plastic case it comes in in order for it to fit in the car. It's not the case :) especially since the 2003 Lesabre it just slipped right in. I also glued the edge with two holes because there was a small gap and it didn't go all the way. You have to press it really hard and hold for a minute as the filter media doesn't like glue. Let it dry for 48 hours to be on the safe side to prevent superglue smell…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Cabin Air Filter - Easy to Install

Buick Lucerne CF140 filter is very easy to install. First open the hood. Remove the black plastic panel from the passenger side panel just below the wiper by pressing on the two protruding tabs. Pull out the plastic push pin retainer from the right side of the air cleaner frame (see photo). Press the tab on the left side of the frame and pull the filter up and out. You can leave the push pin outside. It doesn't look like the filter in the airbox is moving. The tab on the left was a little hard…

Cabin Air Filter ACDelco CF140

I've been running my '05 Bonneville without a cabin air filter for 2 years now. I really don't think they're "necessary" since cars these days don't even come out of the factory with them. I posted on a forum about how I smell "musty" when I turn on the AC and a member suggested checking the cabin air filter. Well, I went to check and there wasn't one, not even a staple. So to calm my OCD I looked for a mount/filter. I didn't have to look far to find this at Revain. It's perfect for the space…

Only buy if your frame is missing or damaged

If your car already has a frame then you don't really need this product, you just need a replacement paper filter. Buick Lesabre Custom 2004. This Product I also recently checked my cabin air filter and found that someone had just installed a frameless filter and like most reviewers here I prefer the Fram FreshBreeze cabin air filters but I'm pretty frugal and will get a cheap one Use the crappy one that goes with this frame for a few months until I feel like I've at least gotten my money's…

  • delivery was very quick

  • Crumpled

Read it. Can save you a lot of headaches.

Bought my 2003 Buick LeSabre used and only found a paper filter with no support frame in the passenger side air duct. It can be found by opening the hood, look to the left, on the top passenger side firewall, under the windshield wiper - you'll see two plastic latches that open a black plastic door about the size of your palm is to get there cabin filter. Inside, I noticed that the cabin filter assembly with plastic bracket was missing. There was just a useless clogged paper filter. Lots of…
