ACDelco D580A Professional Ignition Distributor Review

I recently purchased a replacement distributor for my car and I am very satisfied with its performance. My analysis of this product showed that it is well-built and durable, providing a reliable ignition system. The installation was simple and the fit was perfect. The distributor cap and rotor are also of high quality. The only downside is the slightly higher price compared to other options on the market, but the added quality justifies the investment.

Appears to be of good quality, distributor cap replaced with aluminum stays, oxidation of the aluminum by electric current (white greyish dust) increases the gap that sparks the arc needs to run and the voltage drops reach the spark plugs. Brass is not oxidized

Bought this genuine part along with an ACDelco rotor which has worked hand in hand to restore my car's performance. Comes with brass connectors that offer less resistance compared to the cheap metal conductors often found in auto parts stores. Overall I am satisfied and will buy this product again in due course. Almost forgot it's MADE IN USA!
