I bought this for durability and functionality. Any assessment of the plentiful leak is true. When it's open, everything flows out. It seems to be leaking. BUT it's great for older kids and very durable.

I bought these water bottles for my younger grandchildren. The smaller size ensures easy handling. The preschooler will love being able to attach a water bottle to a belt loop or backpack. I highly recommend this bottle of water.

It's just good, but not great. They only lock when the straw is lowered to the closed position. When the straw is up and open, there is a REAL HOLE in the lid for liquid to leak through if the bottle is not upright. I can handle it, my baby can't. Not sealed".

The quality is good but it is very difficult for my 3 year old to open it by himself. If you don't close it securely, it will leak. The Contigo brand is easier to open and close, but difficult to clean. In my opinion, there is no such thing as the perfect water bottle. I decided that I would try this brand but it also has design flaws.

Our 6 year old found it extremely difficult to open. We practiced a week before school started but we ended up bringing her back because it was still hard, we didn't want her to struggle with it at school. The older kids could probably get used to it, but it was difficult. Other than that it looked cool, seemed sealed and was easy to return hence 3 stars.

Not sure if the water bottle had a crack or was bought on the first day of use but in any case the water poured out of the bottle cracked the bottom and soaked the contents of my son's backpack. I hand washed it before use and let it dry overnight. I checked the top and it doesn't seem to leak when turned upside down. I have not tested the 2nd water bottle in the set for cracks but due to issues with the first water bottle it is unlikely that the second water bottle will be used for school.

Love how easy they are to clean - there are no hidden parts to worry about mold growing. But ours are definitely flowing and there's no getting around that. Even if I press the straw with my finger and turn it upside down, it leaks. I am confused as to how they are advertised as sealed. They are excellent for children who have already learned to drink through a straw. I would not recommend them for children who are too young for this. Our 2 year old squirts all over the place when he tries to use his so some preparation is required. My 5 year old son loves it, it attaches easily to his backpack and doesn't spill when fully closed. If you leave it open and turn it upside down, it will slowly flow out at the top, so be careful. They're dishwasher safe so cleaning should be easy…
