Pros: Measures things accurately Cons: Poorly made and plastic feels brittle. I wonder if this is the reason why they ship the product with test not installed. The battery cover is difficult to remove and put on.

I wasn't expecting too much at this price point. It also comes with a 1.5V battery which is required to operate this digital caliper. The caliper appears to be fairly accurate, measuring from 0.00 to 6.00 inches. It feels like hard plastic and is very light. Obviously it is not intended for professional use, but for quick measurements in and around the house, for hobbyists, household chores, etc.; where high accuracy is not required, this is sufficient for this work. I like it (four stars).
