I bought an Acer Chromebook in 2018, mid 2019 the battery stopped charging, it doesn't work when connected to the core. Also, annoying stripes begin to appear in the middle of the screen.

I bought this Chromebook for home school from Covid kids. We have been here for 10 months now and nearing completion several keys have stopped working. It essentially renders a Chromebook useless when a child can't solve online math problems when the number keys don't work.

I bought this model because the specs were great for the price and I knew there was a Gallium OS build for it. When it arrived I removed the back cover, removed the write protect screws and erased Chrome OS. Since then long and happy.

I received this refurbished laptop yesterday. When I opened the box it looked in great condition. I plugged it in to charge for about 2-3 hours then wanted to turn it on and nothing. This isn't a touchscreen computer, so I don't know why this is a rating option? The computer is strong. Light and thin. Linux ready. Security updates expire in July 2022 if you intend to keep it as a Chromebook OS. I'm migrating mine completely to Linux when the time comes. Also, it doesn't have an SD card slot, which I didn't know when I bought it. It arrived in perfect condition and it was perfect for what I wanted it for.
