Okay one of the questions for this review is about gaming, I use it for a ham radio monitor. It's a bright, crisp screen, although I have no idea how it's going to perform in a gaming environment. I would imagine that as a gamer you would want a little over 20 inches, but for my purposes it's great! Good color, clarity and contrast for viewing landmarks and radio menus.

I bought it with a diagonal of 19.5 inches. My previous monitor was an inch smaller. The extra inch actually seems to make a big difference. I've been using this monitor for over 5 months now and it's been a great monitor! I use it as a secondary screen with my laptop and love that I can set it to turn off "blue light" because I need to overlay the screen over my laptop screen to prevent blue light since it gives me a headache. . I should have known it would be a cheap monitor. But at the time I was desperate for a replacement main monitor. There are a lot of "grey-white" spots on the bottom that can reach the center of the screen depending on the viewing angle, as well as some "black and bluish bleeding" on the top. This monitor is fine for business use, but I bought it for watching movies and unless it's adjusted to the exact viewing angle, the picture will be obscured. To be honest I bought it because it was the cheapest and most basic monitor I could find on Revain that would suit my needs after my old hardware died on me. And it worked great, it's a good monitor with good picture quality and a decent sized screen. Hardcore gamers might want something with ultra-high specs and a big screen, but this will satisfy anyone who just wants a good monitor at a good price.

Easy to set up, video quality is good. They come with VGA cables instead of HDMI, so I had to buy them, but there's no complaints about the quality.

I've been using it for 18 months to work from home with a second monitor. It's only now starting to cause minor problems - like glitches blurring or disappearing and blinking again.

Nothing fancy or fancy, but it does offer a great extra screen if you're working from a tiny laptop. I found the default setting too light, but I was able to adjust it easily. There were a few minor issues assembling the stand - most likely it was my own clumsiness and not the fault of the product. The ability to tilt the screen, which I thought I wouldn't need, helped a lot in getting a good viewing angle. Note that an HDMI cable is not included. I bought Revain Basics and it works great.

I bought mine to use with an electronics mounting microscope and to replace a damaged Dell unit. While this Acer box works, the picture quality is much worse than Dell's. Images in particular look washed out compared to the Dell: It doesn't have a rich black point. At this price I will not complain or change but I wish I had made a better choice.

The picture is good and well composed but the ghosting on this monitor is absolutely awful making it terrible for any type of gaming. I bought two which I sent back the day they arrived.

Just received and so far so good. Will be updated if anything goes wrong during the refund period. YUP! THERE IS AN HDMI PORT. Update: I went back and updated to 23.8 acer 1080.

This monitor does the main job. However, if you're just programming, surfing the web, checking email, etc., this monitor has serious issues with ghosting and responsiveness. Increase your budget if you care about games, screen color quality and more.

I bought two of these for my husband who likes to work with multiple screens at the same time. The quality is very good! I am impressed. It was way better than expected!
