The monitor has worked well so far. I had to make some adjustments to the settings to suit my own preferences. However, he really needs an adjustable stand. It does not tilt and does not rise and fall. I love the monitor, after a small brightness adjustment it is amazing. It had one dead pixel out of the box that just sits green on the screen, but everything else is perfect

Very good gaming monitor. I bought it when it was on sale for $144 and it was a steal. One of the best monitors I recommend. The only negatives I can think of are the buttons on the actual monitor and the fact that it doesn't have a USB port. Update - I brought another 32 acre monitor so it is now being used as my second monitor and a year has passed and still no problems.
