This gas cap works great. I use it on a 2011 DR650 with an Acerbis 6.6 fuel tank with a profile tank filter. It works the same with or without a profile filter. I've been using the cap for six months now, no problems.

This cover is very handy for long rides when you need to store the bike in ferries or trucks far from your sight, it was very difficult to install initially but after some tests it can be used without problems, now I feel very comfortable with these parts

Genuine Acerbis tank comes with cap and hose. It's good for off-road use, but if you also use your DR650 for a long time around town and in the public park, it's better to have this cap with a lock. You don't want anyone tampering with (or even stealing) your fuel. A spare key is included.
