This pump was an exact, direct replacement in my '08 expedition. Removed the right headlight. I disconnected the electrical connections and rubber hoses and pulled out the old pump. Plugged it in and plugged it back in. There are no problems and it works great.

My wife has a 2000 Merc Mountaineer and the washer pump is leaking. I spent months trying to fix this. Where can you find a replacement part like that? They don't end up in landfills, and most of the time I just overlooked that. After trying everything to seal the old one up and winter was approaching I figured why not and put it up on Amazon. I ordered this part because my wiper reservoir motor failed. After two hours of removing the reservoir and motor, replacing and topping up the reservoir with water, it all leaked through the motor-tank connection. It took another two hours to remove the reservoir and motor and make sure the gasket was in place correctly, then reinstall the motor and refill the reservoir just to watch all the water drain out again. I would definitely not recommend this part to anyone.
