It's not flashy, but does what it says on the tin. This handy power adapter allowed me to use my T7 as a live webcam. It fits well, doesn't kink the cables and doesn't overheat. Now if only Canon could get their software to work on the new M1 Macs so I can actually USE them more, that would be amazing!

Works great with Canon Rebel t7 so far. I haven't tried full extended recording, but the camera is on. Note: If you have a Canon Rebel t7, when inserting the AC charger, you must close the flap for it to work. Canon will not turn on with any battery when the battery cover is open. This power cord is used with a Canon T6 DSLR. It has become a great addition to my workflow. My tripod is full length. In some cases it seems that the cable barely reaches the ground. A few things are working well for some people so far. If you don't close the battery compartment, it won't work. And it can close, the T6 has a small rubber element that allows the cord to come out. 2) Mine always wants it to pop out (before the door closes) so just make sure it's in place, close it and it should work fine. So far I've tried it once, it worked fine, but the real test will come later when I stream with it.
