OK for the money. only two small tweeters are blocked.

2 paper cone speakers with blocking capacitor in series to reject high frequencies. Full audio range is not allowed. The center channel must have the same sound spectrum as the other surround speakers. It's probably best to go with a single full-range coaxial speaker for the best sound. There are no clear highs here. Extremely heavy, made from 3/4" chipboard. Very redundant. Many other full-range center speakers with woofers and tweeters have excellent sound for the same price.

Be careful with the setting you add.

Own. It looks solid and the cable ports are fairly large, making it easy to connect. The problem I'm having is I'm upgrading an old Hi-Fi system as it predates digital audio and I'm having more and more trouble connecting it to other components. I decided to switch from stereo to 5.1 and add additional speakers. I already had a pair of $600 Cerwin Vega speakers for the front left and right channels and some decent midrange speakers for the rear left and right channels, so I was looking for a…

Great speaker at a great price

Budget surround sound system damaged by a newer Sony receiver. The quality of the speaker itself is amazing and fantastic, this is a well built high performance speaker that can take a beating. It sounds better than you would expect from a $30 center speaker. , it has a good clear dialogue sound but it can sound square at times depending on what is being played through but it's not enough to make me angry about losing experience or wanting a new one. a cheap speaker to complete the sound,

Pros
  • Two 3" full range woofers, rear mounting tab, spring clips, video screen, digitally tuned bass reflex enclosure, acoustically transparent grille

and it looks good. As a newcomer to the audio world

UPDATE 11/2019: It has survived the move and is still performing at the same level as when I got it. I don't have kids or pets so this might help but I'm still impressed with the durability of this speaker. ORIGINAL 2016 REVIEW: It sounds, is affordable and looks good. As a newbie to the audio world, I honestly don't care much about sound quality. All I can say is that it plugs in easily and I hear what I'm supposed to hear (actors' voices, music, etc.) and don't hear what I'm not supposed to…
