Permastone is the perfect choice when you need a non-toxic casting compound to capture intricate detail that dries to a stone-like strength. Easy to mix, pour and finish, it sets in 30 minutes producing a silky smooth, marble-like finish that is stronger than plaster. When cured it can be easily filed, sanded and buffed to a rich luster, it dries ultra white and accepts all paints beautifully. An excellent choice for hobby casting, ornaments, figurines, body casting, baby keepsakes, model railroad scenery and decorative art. Non-toxic, ACMI Approved and meets all US and European testing standards.

Quick drying and hard wearing

I used a 1 liter bucket and packet of this material to hide my Christmas gift cards. I merged it in half, added a duct tape wrapped gift card, then added the rest. It was hard for my kids to open up, they needed enough time to have fun and enjoy it. The material dries quickly, is smooth and more durable than I expected. Very cool.

I used this to make a great gift for my husband and it came out perfect. I listened to the directions and then ventured out and added my own amount of water: product. It turned out great and was very easy to work with. Just wear a mask when working with this as the dust is not lung safe.

There are no instructions on how much water to add to make the mixture work.

If you don't get enough water right away you can't add more or it won't set no matter how long you let it We messed up the first 2 boxes of these before we figured out the proportions (just 4 ordered). , and draws beautifully. We mixed colored powder into the mix and made tiny "stone" and marble swirling colored building blocks and red brick blocks and they looked great. They are not as easy to break as the gypsum blocks we make. Regular Quikcrete Mortar was used to craft the larger blocks asโ€ฆ
