This might be good for a small area. I'm a karaoke DJ, I've played fairly large venues that light up a small area, I need two or three of these to set up a large stage. It needs to be placed above the speaker to control the sound, basically it needs to be directly opposite the speaker to hear the sound. As I said, that's good for a very small place.

This item was perfect for our family for Christmas. We have this in the living room and the kid loves watching the light show on the ceiling. It has several different modes that we use, including one that listens to music and adapts to the rhythm of the light. Will be using this bad boy for years to come (I hope). Remote takes a little time to figure it out, but once you get the hang of it, it works great!

Very impressed with this little thing. It's so light but wow it really has a lot of lights and options on the remote to choose from. My last light only had a handful. This just kept working with the random selection. Really made my whole living room look like one giant party. Best decorative lighting purchase I've ever made. Lots of different mods, small with big range. I even put it outside to light up the front of my house and it worked. Now I'm giving away my Christmas decorations lol.
