Bring back the old formula!

Why did they change the wording!?!? It was perfect the way it was. I got used to constantly changing branding as long as the product stayed the same. First line delete/quick fix has been undone. Now the composition of the best face scrub has changed. I don't care about the consistency of the new formula, it's rough on the face. The old composition contained smaller particles in the scrub. Smaller particles are made for better customer service. I used the face scrub every other day and got away…

Amazing Peeling: Face

Hooray! This thing saves lives. Recently my doctor prescribed me steroids to get rid of my allergies. I immediately started injecting like I was 15 again (that was one of the side effects. I had to read the leaflet they give) and at 25 it doesn't happen anymore. I haven't had a good scrub and this one had such good reviews that I decided to give it a try. It really works! After 8 days my skin was almost back to normal and as clear as can be! My dark acne spots are noticeably lighter and any…

Have been using this for years!

I have been using the ACURE Brilliantly Brightening Facial Scrub for over 3 years. It's fantastically luxurious at a very affordable price. I clean my face, neck and upper chest twice a week and one bottle lasts 6 months. I usually pay $9-10 for a bottle. Green clay is smooth, and sandy parts peel off without scratching. I'm too sensitive to smells and it has a very light earthy/floral scent which I like. it is in the soul. One time I washed it off in the bath and I had to wash the whole ring…

NOT CORRECT! Polishes and scrubs

It's a fake! I started using this face scrub in 2018 and I love how rough and exfoliating it is. It should be dark green, almost black. When I opened the package, I noticed that the bottle said "BRILLIANTLY BRIGHTENING" in white lettering. If your bottle looks like this, it's fake! It should say "LIGHTING FACE SCRUB" in black print! In this photo, the fake is on the left. The real one is on the right. I bought the real one from Target and you can see the difference. The fake feels so sticky and

UPDATE: Best. Scrub. JE!

UPDATE: So I'm only updating my review because the product was reformulated (2018). They added (or increased) French green tone. The old version (201-17) was much grainier and I liked it. This one is both gritty and rough AND slippery and slippery (because of the clay). I confess I wasn't sure how I would like it. It's an odd combination that I've never felt before, but. IT WORKS! You still get good exfoliation, but the tone adds a soothing/cleansing quality that, with hindsight, wasn't there…

Fake - Polishes and scrubs

The first time I ordered this maybe half a year ago, I loved it! I reordered it a few weeks ago and everything about the product has changed. I am convinced that this is a counterfeit product. I decided to test the theory by ordering another bottle directly from the Acure website. The bottle I got from Acure was the same amazing formula as the first time. Amazon's was in a white bottle without the yellow symbol. The consistency has become much rougher, the smell is gone. The bottle straight…

I love this thing in polishes and scrubs

I prefer a chemical peel to a physical peel (which means rubbing something on the skin to remove dead skin versus chemicals like glycolic acid for example ) I still need something and this is my way. As a kid in the 90's I was all about the St. Ives which I now know can cause microscopic skin tears and damage over time. I haven't done much research on this particular product BUT based on what I know it's not that drastic, if at all. For me, that's actually the perfect amount of peeling. I plan…
