Setup is very simple - computer components

Two of them communicate very quickly with the Arduino. I have yet to do a proper distance test with my setup, but with two 5dBi line antennas, the signal went through two floors of my house with no problem. That's a good sign as I need good penetration of the object.

Pros
  • Output power +5 to +20dBm to 100mW (output power selectable in software)
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Great Product - Single Board Computer

I bought two of these and within 30 minutes they started talking to each other. I am consistently impressed with Adafruit's products and support. So far I think they are in a league of their own!

Pros
  • Packet Radio with Arduino Ready Libraries
Cons
  • Almost never

Setup is very easy on single board computers

Pros
  • Packet Radio with Arduino prebuilt libraries
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Great but I'm confused if they are 433 or 868/915MHz

Hello, I have used other radios before and it works for us is good. This time I bought it to use them at 915Mhz but I'm a little concerned as can be seen in the attached picture, it says RF95W but the actual chip is engraved with RF96. I went to the Adafruit page and it seems what RF96 is for 433MHz. Can you clarify if these are 915 or 433MHz devices?

Pros
  • +5 to +20dBm to 100mW output power (output power selectable in software)
Cons
  • Makes me angry

It's great fun with them!

I liked them a lot. I soldered some of them with a uf.l connector and the others with a SMA board edge connector. Both work fine. The benefit of this particular board is that it has a level switch so it can handle 3.3VDC or 5VDC devices and it has its own voltage regulator so you don't have to worry about that. When sending it can load Arduino, ESP8266 or ESP32 which you can use. If I had to give a negative comment, I would say that there is no way to bypass the regulator, so I can use themโ€ฆ

Pros
  • SX1276 LoRa based module with SPI interface
Cons
  • Some cons
