Adam Equipment SHS 100A Readability Review

This scale was a disappointment for my lab. Despite its supposed accuracy we found it to be inconsistent and unreliable. It may work for casual use, but its not up to industrial and scientific standards. .

This scale would have been much more convenient for our purposes if it had had a serial port, but it worked well in an experiment where we needed to control the change in weight due to a decrease in humidity in a hanging earth column. We can keep it running indefinitely (despite the timed auto-off feature) by cutting a hole in the battery cover and providing continuous AC power with the included charger.
