This technique is quite easy to do such a poor manufacturing job. Molex pins move up/down and left/right and have been bent. I had to sit up. The pin alignment did not match the molex from the power supply anywhere. I had to align the two pins with the power supply socket. After connecting everything worked. We'll have to see how long the build quality will be EXTREMELY bad. Do not buy if you are PC newbie or end user.

The pins on the inside of the cable are a little loose and feel flimsy. Very loose tolerances from the factory did not inspire confidence in the product. Other than that I use them for an exhaust fan and haven't had any problems. If the cable did eventually fail I might not even notice as the exhaust fan is a bit overkill for my build but if you have a CPU that gets really hot and cooling is important I would definitely go with something that is better quality . .

I was lucky I only needed one of the two included in the package as the molex connector was not fully crimped onto one of the adapters so this was mostly the case was useless. On the other side of the same adapter, one of the pins was already bent. The other adapter was able to connect correctly on both sides. In principle, your results can be anything.

Great little plug, no problems with it. Worked as described and I added 2 extra fans to my computer. The wires are strong and the connections are reliable!

Really useful when you need two 12V fan headers - handy as it works with both 3 and 4 pin fans and cable quality suffers a lot. When used in an external GPU water cooling setup for two fans on a heatsink it's perfect for the job.

I use these to connect two fans in front of my case, my motherboard has enough fan slots but I didn't want the front fan wires to get in the way of anything else and me didn't think it would look good. This made it easier to hide the cables.

cheap, had loose fittings, thin cord, just out of curiosity tried to use it and barely got 1/4 normal RPM from a direct connection to the power supply!

Usually when I get a Molex I'm afraid it will melt because they're usually cheaply made. But it had and has no problems with them. I was able to connect many fans to my computer.
