Working but no sound

Working. However, remember that the power supply requires 5V DC. One problem is that it doesn't support audio output from Switch to LG 5K. Are there any solutions?

EXCELLENT - HIDDEN CABLE! GEM!

This is the cable I was looking for and nobody else has. I needed a cable that would carry an HDMI OUT signal from a USB-C jack to connect to a USB-C TV/monitor cable. This is the only way to transmit the Nvidia RTX 3080 PC signal to any monitor or TV via USB-C. Otherwise you'll need a straight through HDMI cable, which I didn't want to do. I use the same USB Type-C cable that connects to my laptop and I wanted to keep using that cable and not have any other cables.

My cabling goals are finally accomplished - works like clockwork

Due to my own poor planning, I ended up getting a USB docking station with HDMI output, but a monitor that has USB-C input At hundreds of With all the video down conversion products on the market, finding an adapter that would convert an HDMI source to a USB-C display device took some time. Thankfully, this product does just that, and so far I'm very happy with it. Setup was easy (just remember to plug in the included micro USB power cable as you originally did). I get a full 60Hz refresh rateโ€ฆ

Use this for a Mac Mini Apple Silicon M1 and a second LG Ultrafine 24md4kl

This solved a big headache for me. I can't believe Apple isn't making this more obvious to idiots like me who just assume everything they sell works together. The Mac Mini M1 only offers 1 Thunderbolt monitor output and 1 HDMI output. It will not work with two LG UltraFine 24md4kl without this adapter (be sure to use a USB-C cable, not a Thunderbolt cable). You lose some functionality on an Ultrafine powered by an HDMI monitor. You need an app like Lunar to control the brightness from theโ€ฆ
