Keep getting the MK error message and no info on what it means or where to find it. There are no instructions or information anywhere.

Looks like the center LED was replaced in a rebuild and the remake is extremely poorly done. I cannot accept this build quality. Please see the attached photo. Are you kidding me?

I installed this unit in an old machine with an Inland Premium 2TB 3D NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSD and aWD Black SN750 1TB SSD 3D V-NAND PCIe NVMe Gen 3 x 4 M .2 2280 and so far they buck at the advertised rate. No complaints. Perfect !

Will not charge. Specially with PCIe 16 Gen 3 slots. Only one slot can be used. It is not possible to install a second NVMe in flipped slots, especially with a large NVMe or a new SSD with a heatsink. Cannot be used and create RAID storage. Does not work with Intel VROC RAID

I was hoping that this device would help extend the life of my PC. Unfortunately I believe he was dead on arrival. I tested this board on 3 different systems and none of them recognized it with the m2 ssd installed and with the sata cable connected to the correct port.

Very easy to install and everything works fine. Just insert the card into the PCIe slot and connect the SATA cables to two SATA drives (msata and m2 sata). I added three drives to the card: 256GB M2 nvme, 250GB M2 sata and 256GB msata and they all work with no issues. I can also boot the computer from any of the hard drives. That's a very good card.

This product worked great on my custom built device. I installed my Samsung 870 Evo+ on this adapter. The NVME drive worked at full speed on my device. I took a star off this product because the screws used to attach the silver plate that fits into the back of the case slot were too small. I had to repurpose two screws from my broken PCIE adapter to get this thing to fit properly.

I gave 5 stars because it did the job of cloning old SSD to new SSD to update my desktop as a boot drive. I recommend cloning both SSD mounts onto this board using another computer if you have one. This simplifies the cloning process when you need to remove the old SSD before booting with the new one. External cloning does not mess up BIOS settings when both identically cloned drives are recognized by the same motherboard at the same time.

This is not an NVMe expansion slot for your PCI card, it is a powered adapter to run NVMe drives as SATA. Using the 16x expansion slot is a waste of time. The drive connectors are not for connecting additional drives to the interface, but for connecting drives to SATA slots on the motherboard. My general suggestion would be to look elsewhere for your solution. Upgrade downgraded to one star after one of my drives issued a code on this board (but it wasn't a drive).
