Camping Essential

We use these at every campsite we visit, it allows us to use a 50 amp plug instead of a 30 amp plug. 50 has a much tighter fit and won't wear out our camper plugs as quickly.

30/50 amp adapter - current and power

This is a good idea for my camping. I don't always have to lug around two adapters with me. Just pull and stick. It combines perfectly with the trailer and camping. Very happy

Worth the money

We've been to a lot of engineering camps and some of them don't offer 30 amps. Discord, which allowed us to step the wattage down from 50 amps to 30 amps, was perfect for our needs. It's very well built.

Not verified by certification bodies

Item and label do not have electrical certification marks such as: B. UL listing. Unacceptable for a product rated for a lethal current of 50 amps. Back to Revane, buy; Camco product certified by Canadian authorities.

Heavy Duty Adapter - Caravan Parts & Accessories

We bought this adapter to connect our 30 amp camper to a 50 amp electrical box. They are sometimes called "dog bones" and that's exactly what I was looking for. You need to make sure you get the right configuration, ie make sure "male" and "female" match with the correct amperage. This adapter is durable, well made and easy to use.

Short and fat 'plug' - doesn't fit well with input jacks

The "female" end is for a direct cable-to-cable connection - it is too thick (diameter) and too short to fit in a waterproof box without modification (photo shows intended use after modification). I was able to shave it to fit due to lack of time. Otherwise I would return it to look elsewhere for my application. The price seems good and it seems reliable.
