This is NOT compatible with the switch. Sure, you'll get an image, but it will mess up your Switch in the long run. This puts the switch into a weird mode where it turns off the fan and keeps cooking it. The moment you turn it off, the fan goes to high speed. This will boil up your switch over time. DO NOT take this for your Switch.

The product never wants to work. Tried with multiple cables and 1/10 chance to have picture from phone. IF it works (and it almost never does) the picture is fine and works for what I need it for. However, this is too unreliable. Made it through a streaming Patriot game and multiple game emulation sessions, but it's extremely unstable and sensitive. This _could_ be a defective device. But I think it's unreliable across the board.

We bought this for a spring break trip to Grandma's. Worked great. This allowed the kids to take over the big TV and play Switch games together without fighting. Well, don't argue about taking turns. Little did I know plugging in the power cord was a must (thought it might be battery operated) but luckily my phone's charger was able to clamp the shock. I'm glad we don't have to mount our dock to use the Switch on the go.

I bought this adapter to replace a bulky Nintendo Switch dock. I was very careful with it, only plugging my Switch in when it was lying completely flat on a desk or table for fear of damaging the Switch's USB-C port at the bottom. Connect this device to the Switch via USB port, connect HDMI to this device and TV, then connect USB power adapter to the port of the device, and it will work automatically.
