I ordered this because of the brown cord to be able to knit socks with two round stitches and I already had one with blue thread. The wire didn't have to be blue for me to distinguish the front and rear spokes. Apparently the cable was blue when I received it. I ordered it because of the cable color. Very disappointed.:

These are my first pair of Addi Turbo Needles and they are fantastic. I bought them to make a "hitchhiking" scarf. I'm a very novice knitter but these were so smooth. Never pull where the needle touches the cable. Every time I work on a big project with a good yarn I think I'll probably shell out another Addi Turbo to get the job done.

When I'm not working with very slippery yarn I use Addi Turbo needles for everything. Some of my needles are 13 years old and some sizes are used daily (no kidding, the fiber is my business) so this can be an indication of their longevity and hard work. There is no binding at the junction like some other lower quality needles and the needles do not discolour. Your hands will warm the needles and it is a pleasure to work with. I like to use long sock knitting needles instead of double knitting…
