The lens has a lot of fisheye distortion so I highly doubt it's a true triple magnifier, or at least the lenses were mismatched. However, the black finish helped reduce glare when viewing objects, and I appreciated the wide field of view. The magnifying glass was also solid metal, and strong nylon loops prevented it from opening while it hung around my neck. It also came in a nice leather pouch in a decorative box.

I was looking for an inexpensive magnifier that still has enough magnification to look for counterfeit maps. It definitely provided what I needed at a price point that suited me. The product appears to be of good quality and has not given me any problems.
