No quality control. Started assembling this kit, opened the static packaging for the hood and the capacitor fell off the board, checked the other and sure enough, one side isn't a soldier. Disappointing because I've already spent several hours with this kit. I have ordered a replacement kit but I doubt it will be without problems. I was very excited to build this with my daughter. However, the guide, if you can call it that, is really badly written. The charts don't help. I had to go through the instructions several times. The woman in the video speaks too fast, skipping words and is unintelligible. I had to slow the video down to 75% (thanks YouTube) and play it 4 times before I fully understood what to do. I understand that the steps may seem overly simple for some, but for a STEAM-branded toy, they should be clearer…

TLDR: This is a great kit, very affordable, follow the online PDF as there are no instructions in the box. Had to watch a video along with reading the assembly document due to 2D vs 3D. First set up the Ras Pi, align the servos. If leveling during assembly, make sure the camera is connected or the software is not loading. In the past year I've collected over a dozen kits. It has the most accurate instructions (almost exactly the same) and the software worked great, although I had a little trouble getting the right CV file. Trial and error led me there.
