TLDR: This is a great kit, very affordable, follow the online PDF as there are no instructions in the box. The software part is easy to make it work. just clone the repo and run the installation script. Enjoy! I received this RaspClaws set for my kids as a Christmas present and couldn't be happier. This is a great start for anyone trying to get started with robotics. The price is quite reasonable considering the parts that come in the box: picam, x15 servos +1 extra, accelerometer, LEDs etc. Once assembled it's pretty compact and even looks pretty cool. There were no instructions in the box but the instructions could be found via a link on the Amazon product page. The creation process is simple, just follow the instructions and you'll be set up in no time. All in all it took me less than a day to put everything together. Everything is open source, so all you have to do is download the code from their git repository and run setup.py. The installation script takes care of installing everything required for RaspClaws to work. After everything was set up and installed I was able to run RaspClaws.py with no problems and successfully connected to the spider and it crawls... it's creepy. , this is a great set for learning and fun! I'm curious how they will play with him in the long run. PS: You may need a second set of batteries to limit game downtime :-D
