The glue on it is terribly weak. In the photo, I have the weight on one side, but believe me, I tried all the weight distribution options, and it always turned out the same.

This is such a crazy hazard, I don't know why nobody has sued this company before. It doesn't stick at all and the magnet doesn't hold knives overnight! Luckily I installed this over my sink, but I couldn't imagine having it on my wall! I have 2 children and fur babies who could very easily be injured or killed by this. Hung some copper measuring cups and spoons over the stove. The adhesive is very strong and hasn't moved on the wall even after 3 months with the heavy cups. I have to admit I was hoping he would be strong, but I wasn't expecting him to have a much stronger grip than I thought! I've had them for a few weeks now. I wiped down the sides of the fridge with antibacterial wipes, let it dry for 30 minutes, and then attached the strips. I've had 5-6 knives on each strip since I've put them in and haven't had any problems. They still stick well to my fridge. Those with sticking issues are likely trying to apply them to painted walls with oil/grease buildup or even textured walls to keep them from sticking. That's a great price so I went ahead and ordered them. Once I had them I cleaned the wall very well with rubbing alcohol, let it dry and then glued it to it. They held up well even under the weight of the knives. The magnet is strong enough to hold anything. I've pinned one of the two I've got up and to be honest I don't expect it to hold up when I pull it down and move with it (I'm a straight puller now) . It was about $5 for two of them though, so at that price I really don't care as long as they don't drape nicely and move. I'll pay another $5 if I have to lol. How: very easy to install, sticks very well, has a fairly strong magnetic attraction. Dislikes: That it's quite flimsy and short, that I had to use both strips together to get the area I needed.
