My biggest complaint: they are so difficult to put on! He can't do it himself, which isn't surprising at 4, but he can put all his other shoes on by himself.

Great shoes that sons love to wear (no straps). He should be comfortable. The only downside (in most modern shoes) is the material they use for the laces, which requires double tying.
