My son loves these shoes, at least visually. I don't think he finds them comfortable as I often hear complaints but he still enjoys wearing them from time to time. My biggest complaint: they are so difficult to put on! He can't do it himself, which isn't surprising at 4, but he can put all his other shoes on by himself.

I always try to buy children's shoes as they are cheaper for the wallet and very cute in most cases. I wear 8 on women so I have 6 on kids and they fit perfectly and they are incredibly comfortable. Great shoes that sons love to wear (no straps). He should be comfortable. The only downside (in most modern shoes) is the material they use for the laces, which requires double tying.
