They are light and comfortable. I bought 3 pairs for my son to attend college soccer camp this summer. Day 1 they were surprised by the rain. Day 2 12 hours with breaks. He felt great in them. They were transparent but not translucent and breathable when he walked. If the slope is 97°, it matters.

These are excellent mid and upper thigh football shorts. Not too short, not too long. The fit is true to size. My 10 year old 100 lb daughter wears L and they fit her perfectly with a little more room to grow.
