Good recovery and/or walking support - not recommended for running

I really like them. I already have other colors in this style and keep buying them, so I must like them =] . I DO NOT use them and do not recommend them as "running shoes" but they are a great substitute - a nice upgrade for a stylish running shoe that wears well. I would give them 3 stars for running without naming names but I only run in B**** or H*** - I haven't seen R*****, N*** or Adidas yet. Shoes I like to walk in.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Has flaws

All gray looks great and looks the best in my opinion.

All gray looks fantastic and looks better than all the other color options in my opinion. Alpha bounces are really handy. I ordered them half a size smaller and they fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Not for running Good for road running

I needed a new pair of running shoes and they seem to do the trick. I thought a title like "out of running" would work great! And the style was an added bonus. I had a pair of adidas running shoes once and they seemed to last a while. I usually run 4-5 miles a day so I figured I should do the same to make sure I could make it. These shoes are not designed for running at all. They are very bulky and don't support the ankle. They kind of force my feet to go in. At the end of the run my ankle was…

  • One year trial run

Shoes with a little odd fit but comfortable

I really like these sneakers, I usually run about 20 miles a week. As a woman with large feet, I usually buy men's shoes because if I find women's 12 inch shoes that actually fit, they will be too narrow. They are quite wide in the toe area, but the tip of the foot over the arch of the foot is almost too short or small. It's like the sock can't be laced tight enough, but the laces over the tongue don't have enough clearance to the sole. However, these are cheap shoes and they do a great job of…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Some flaws

I've had Alphabounce Beyond for a little over a month or so . and felt I had enough time to write an honest review. I'll start with the pros and cons for people who want a summary, then write a detailed review/observation log below. Pros: - A real bang for your buck (among the best compared to shoes in the same category/price range) - The materials seem excellent for the price point, which Adidas has used liberally on many recent models. Versatile in use, whether for everyday tasks/work or…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

PLEASE NOTE THAT SIZES DIFFER SLIGHTLY. I always wear 7.5 tennis shoes and these I wear 7. They fit perfectly. I like that they are a bit wider so they don't dig in on my feet too much (like Nike can sometimes do). They may take a little time to stretch, but when they do, they will fit perfectly. I already have a pair of all black Adidas Alphabounces and love them so much I had to buy a gray pair too! They are of high quality and I have received many compliments on them. The photos were taken…

5 STARS Comfort and support

First of all I am a female and a nurse. I had surgery last year for refractory plantar fasciitis. I'm definitely not 100% and my surgical leg swells up every day. Before the surgery I wore Hoka One One but now they don't work up to the ankles. I wear alegria (grandmother's shoes) when I have to *dress up*, but I wanted something for the outdoors too. LOVE THIS, easy to use. Flat surfaces 3-6 miles/day. But also great hikes. I've been known to twist my ankles, especially after surgery, but this…

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Will be added later

Half size too big

Bought my normal size after reading the size reviews. Put them on and they're half a size too big. Let's explain where exactly they are too big. Because things aren't what you expect. Your foot will not slip or slide. My foot fits perfectly in the shoe, healing, the arch fits very well. /long. No need to size up if your foot requires a wide toe box like I usually do. The toe is roomy. My hair is above 10.5 on the scale. I usually wear 10.5 sneakers so I ordered them in 10.5. The shoes fit just…
