Overpriced, poorly designed and incompatible hardware

When you pay $28 for a piece of acrylic, you expect a well thought out mounting system and the right mounting hardware. If you purchase this item, you will not receive either. I wonder how products with such consistently bad reviews have such high ratings? If you have to modify a product or go to a store to find additional parts to make it work as intended, it's just a bad product. Anyway, I'm ashamed that I rushed to look at the star rating and didn't read the real reviews. Lesson learned.

It is not easy to install

Glove holder comes with mounting strap. Be aware that this cannot be used alone. Using the holder is not supported. There are pre-drilled holes for mounting, but you cannot use a screwdriver or drill to screw in the brackets. The holes are in a position blocked by the front plastic panels. I bought a couple of these and the best way to install them is to drill new holes in the plastic (be careful it breaks easily) and then screw directly into the holes. If it falls or is hit too hard, it willโ€ฆ

The included hardware does not match the mounting holes and the acrylic collects dust

The screws and anchors provided with the product do not fit the hole and slot on the product. Alternatively a 5 inch piece of double sided tape is included which I suspect is not enough to keep the item in place when the gloves are removed. Things are always messy. You get a lot of dust from glove compartments. Oh yes, there are also no springs to hold the boxes so they fall into the holder cavity. If it had the right mounting hardware and you didn't mind the dust, I think it would cost aboutโ€ฆ
