Once I found the alignment of the hinge pins the assembly was successful. The magnet is a useful piece when leveling walls with metal studs and the leg makes general floor measurements easier.

This is one of those products that I didn't even know existed (or thought I would ever need)! It is durable and well made. I used it to measure an unusually large basement as well as a very deep backyard. The service from this supplier was fast, efficient and friendly.

Great! What I've been missing for years. The only thing I could see in this need is something that helps him stand on the edge of something. For example, when measuring a log, the target can be placed at the top and edge of the surface of the log, rather than on the ground next to it, as if dirty and unable to measure like that. The laser light is reflected back to you, making it easy to see from hundreds of meters away, even in sunlight.
