I bought this wand to use with my new laser. So far I'm really impressed with the 9ft Adir Pro. It is lightweight and easy to pull out and fold. The cloth storage bag is great for keeping dirt hitting the slope out of my back seat. Being shorter than my old rod, I had no problem with the laser receiver having to jam the rod joints, which was a common occurrence with my old rod. I would definitely buy this rod again.

Aluminum rod, perfect for my use. Coupled with the manual level I use, I can take quick measurements to check the course of the road without having to set the full level. The bar is bright and clear. The bag that comes with it is perfect for its safety as it stows perfectly under the back seat of my F150. The balance when fully extended is really good. Some of them are very high in the sky. It's not like this. Great rod for a great price. Be sure to buy it if you think you need it.

More compact than expected, cons are the spirit level only attaches to the first section which raises it about 30 inches off the ground when in use (to keep the pole vertical you have to bend over to see the level) and there is no adjustable score marker to quickly determine if a score is outside of the desired standard.
