This product does not require extraction. Once attached to my dash, it keeps sliding back until it pops out. It's durable and holds the phone but doesn't stay attached to the dashboard.

so I took the time to see if this product was worth the money. This is a good product, I tried to place my phone in my truck so it doesn't block my view and reach my radio etc. It has good suction power.

This product is totally useless. Even though it's attached to the hood above the control box, it doesn't fit properly and keeps slipping. It does NOT hold the phone upright as this connection is loose and cannot be tightened. What appears to be a textured rubber pad holding the back of the phone is actually plastic, smooth and slippery. The phone slips a bit in the clamp and will likely slip out over time. I sent the item back instead of adding glue and rubber bands to make it work.

It's adjustable, but an important part that keeps the phone in place needs to be adjusted with a screw and won't stay in place. They even send a screwdriver, but it has to be tightened daily, and that's why the phone fell on the car at least once. I am annoyed.
