I've been looking for a good smartphone mount for my Subaru Forester for almost a decade and finally found it! I've used them all: sticky window or dash mounts, flat clips, vent mounts, long neck and short neck cup holder mounts - they all have different disadvantages. In my frustration, I even made a clip-on mount with a very large binding clip; suitable for specialized GPS devices, but not good enough for smartphones. This mount works! The key is the curved clip top, which is perfect for flat dashboard edges but perfect for curved edges. Combine this with the universal shoulder joint and reversible neck joint and you can customize this mount into any configuration you can think of!
