Fits perfectly and I was able to convert my normal mount to it. It closes very small so I can travel with it easily. It's cheap plastic so be careful with it.

It's fun to carry, but you don't have much freedom of movement to aim the camera. It fits my Canon d60 DSLR but there are some limitations. I use a small Manfrotto with a ball head that pivots and locks in almost any position. But for the price it would be a good backup.

I have often caught myself simply placing my devices on tables and countertops due to the necessary placement of the sound source. This tripod is exactly what I need for my Tascam DR-05 portable digital recorder. The height and setting is perfect! Also, I have a better grip on interviews with a wearable device.
