Purchased for use with an 8th gen iPad. The confirmed model number was compatible with Note-m on Adonit website before purchase. The pen works fine but the mouse does not connect to the iPad. I liked this idea but sent it back a few weeks later for the following reasons: 1) It worked very light and fragile. I'm sure it won't survive sitting or falling on a hard surface. 2) The magnetic attachment was weak even though the stylus was light. I have to admit I was skeptical! I bought this to have a mouse for traveling with my iPad that I can easily slide into the holder on the back of my case. I like the Apple Pencil, so I don't use the stylus very often. Except when I'm using a mouse, because you can't connect an Apple Pencil and an Andonit stylus at the same time! Unfortunately, although the description says the mouse is compatible with newer iPads, this is only possible if you download their app on an older iPad to upgrade your stylus. I've used the Adonit Note-M quite a bit and it seems to be as good as the Apple Pencil. It's responsive and accurate, and while I don't use the mouse function as much as I thought it would, there are still times when it's useful. This was one of the best semi-impulse purchases I've ever made. I use my iPad and computer when teaching remotely. I love that I have a device that can switch between two devices on the fly. A few important things to know: 1) The "mouse" ending is literally more like a mouse. That means you can't write with the precision of a pen in mouse mode.
