I received this jacket a few months ago but didn't wear it until my trip to the North Carolina mountains. I met a deer coming out of a curse at about 40mph. He fell hard on his left side. The jacket and elbow pads withstood the impact on the asphalt. The sleeve of the jacket was torn, but I was not injured. Great jacket for the price. I will buy another. As soon as I get a new bike :(

At $50 it's hard to fault this jacket. I have more expensive jackets that I ride in better/warmer weather. I wanted something inexpensive, highly visible and warm for the cooler months of a mild southern winter. This jacket is just the ticket.
