The clasp broke after a few uses

The clasp broke after 1 month and I was about to open it. I really like Stanley but he let me down. Incidentally, it works better with "liquid” foods such as soups and the like.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • weight

Good product! suitable for food storage

Great product! I make baked beans in a slow cooker. I took them to picnics at the Croc Pot. It's much easier to carry; and the beans stayed hot for at least 7 hours. Holds up to 3 liters. I almost bought it based on the reviews. Good product!

Pros
  • Well done
Cons
  • Repair

Already with the first use I got broken pieces

I just received the package and put boiled rice on it. 15 minutes later I tried opening the top and I got most of the top and lots of foam. I will ask for a replacement to see if the packaging was defective. I bought it new but it seems that it is damaged, I carefully lifted the lid but I saw that the stiroform was already deeply scratched. I'm disappointed.

Pros
  • nice to use
Cons
  • was damaged

Keeps you really warm

Keeps you warm well. The clips that keep it closed are a weak point in the design, they can break with rough or violent handling. a little difficult to wash. one of the few products that can keep a large batch hot. worked well for food. To update. It proved awkward and awkward to use, eventually becoming a mess. Yes, it keeps things warm, but you shouldn't carry it around or wash it.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • I'll write later

GOOD TO KNOW: Food Container

I've been using this for a few months now and am very satisfied. But the other morning, before I went hunting, I warmed up some potato soup for a hot dinner. I had it in the back seat of my truck and while driving the pressure relief valve failed to release the pressure I believe was building up inside and ended up blowing off the cover and destroying three of the four lathes on it. In the photos you can see what happened.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Compatibility

Worthy winter picnic!

As we have an outdoor picnic with three young children this winter I needed an efficient way to store and carry a hot mac n cheese as I knew she could do it better than anything others would eat stew. I made a homemade mac n cheese and put it in a Stanley thermos. I tempered it at 140F and closed the lid. Four hours later I opened it up and kept the temperature around 120F. Not as hot as we would like, but perfectly acceptable. Next time I would bake mac with cheese and take it to 160F and that

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
