    CAT interface cable

    I used this to connect my ft 450d to my laptop. It worked after I downloaded and installed the driver from the link that came with the cable.

    Excellent cable for radios

    I am using this cable for CAT control on my Yaesu FTdx10 after the USB drivers stopped working. The USB cable is now audio input and audio output, and this cable is used as a COM port for CAT control. High quality, plug and play. Works flawlessly with all digital views and rig control software, WSJT-X, Winlink, Ham Radio Delux, Fldigi, etc.

    Not all cables are the same.

    I am buying two of these cables as rig control cables for each of my Yaesu FT-450 transceivers to replace a cheaper counterfeit cable that does NOT work even though they claim it is compatible with my Yaesu radios. The cheaper cable showed an incompatible chip in my COM PORT settings in Device Manager, rendering it unusable. If you need a cable that will work to control the rig of the Yaesu transceivers listed, this cable should work. They work perfectly on my particular radios.

    Relatively cheap and works well.

    Please pay attention to this so that you can avoid unpleasant experiences when using this product with the N3FJP registration software. I have not been able to get this cable to work when installed per N3FJP's instructions, which specify a baud of 28.8. When I set the speed to 4.8 everything worked fine. The 4.8 speed may not be the only one that works, but it does work and the speed suggested in the N3FJP setup guide doesn't work. Lesson: Experiment with different baud rate settings before you
