Received it quickly. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure how well this works. I noticed that I fly longer distances at night. Even if it gives me a little more distance, it was worth $12! It's worth a bit more when it comes to distance and signal.

I haven't tried if it extends the range, but my biggest complaint is that it doesn't fit the controller's antenna very snugly. The controller antenna must be in the 90 degree position. to stop it Any small moment on the antenna or controller will cause the range extender to fall. It should have a tighter fit.

If you live in an urban area it won't help you much on long journeys. It works really well when you are outside of the urban environment. I've had great success with it over lakes or wide open fields where there are no obstacles. This got my DJI Phantom 3 over a mile across the lake, which is very difficult with a standard antenna.

At the start of this review I was skeptical that this sheet metal would actually make a difference. As a result of the tests, I realized that this device is 100% worth the investment. The range extender is very easy to install and offers instant improvements. I climbed from 1301 feet to a whopping 2667 feet (doubling the distance!).
