Enhancing Performance: aFe Power 44-LF035 PRO GUARD D2 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel Oil Filter Review

Great price as an alternative to a filter bought from a dealer. Last time I reviewed this filter at the dealer they wanted about $60 or more! Perfect fit for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.0L Eco Diesel). Saves a few bucks and no problems I've found.

Great filter. Fits perfectly in my 2015 Ram Ecodiesel. I looked at the quality of the media as well as the assembly and compared it to the Mopar filter that was in the original engine. Visually, aFe appeared to be of significantly higher quality. Of course, such reviews only increased the price of the filter. Performance-wise so far so good. I'll let you guys know how it goes in about 7500 miles!

This filter is almost identical to the Mopar filters which are prohibitively expensive. I recently changed the oil in my Eco-Diesel Grand Cherokee and made the choice, which I have no regrets. It fits perfectly and I have no doubt that it will work as well or even better than a standard filter. The only thing that bothered me was that the dealer could say I was using the wrong equipment on a critical engine failure.
