Good fit. I have this skirt in a large and medium size (red is medium). I rolled up my skirt to make it a little shorter. It fits me perfectly. The big one was too long for my liking, but it was for a rap musical and should have been long given we were moving so much on stage. For reference, I'm 4'11" and about 155-160 pounds.

Ordered according to the size chart but the waist was a little smaller than expected but I prefer skirts that are tighter around the waist. I'm small (4'11") and if I wear the skirt around my natural waist, the skirt will be about halfway below my hips. The material is comfortable, all the seams are finished. It's a great color and I love it have worn it several times since receiving it and have not noticed any change in the stretch or stitching.

My 10 year old is 5ft tall but only weighs 84lbs. She is a bean. It is extremely difficult to find skirts that are long enough to look decent. This skirt fits so well, doesn't gape at the waist and still passes the fingertip test, I've bought two more! She loves them and I don't mind bell bottoms because she wears a lot of shorts underneath. The material is also durable. Maybe 3 stars but I'm only giving 2 because it's so short. The quality is good, not amazing, but comfortable. The waist seems very wide for such a short skirt unless that is what you want (very short skirt). My 12 year old daughter is one size up, I think it would be a girls size 12 or 14 and I would say almost a girls size 14 maybe even a 16.
