Can't get enough good lubes

In use for decades. Ideal for rubber door seals, brakes, caliper rebuild, caliper slide pins. Lubricant for quick couplings. Faucet filter, spark plug wire. window marks. Use in the bathtub for shower rods, water connections and lubricants. Loops are silent. Tapered rubber. Read automotive articles. Nourishes the material. Excellent multipurpose lubricant. Plastic gears and clocks are also required on some parts.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No mold required

Great Stuff on Greases

I don't know much about lubes so I have a hard time comparing this to anyone else but this stuff was amazing! I've used it on chairs, tools, my car, 3D printer models and it's been great. I love that it's nice and thick and is much easier to apply. I wish there was more of an applicator tip as I just put on gloves and apply with my finger or a cotton swab.

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • Clarity

Car door and trunk seals, fridge door seals too

Years ago I borrowed a friend's Honda Seal Glide to wet and condition my car's trunk and door seals. Recently our 2 year old fridge started whistling through the seals and I was reminded of how well the Seal-Gleit renewed the tires on my car. I ordered it and was surprised to see it called "Sil" Glide but a lot of people use it that way. I rubbed it into my fridge's rubber grommets (after cleaning them and their mating surfaces). I deleted the excess and that seems to have fixed the problem.

  • Glitter

  • Minor problems

I love this stuff! in greases and lubes

As an ASE technician with 20 years of experience, this stuff is the secret to great braking performance. Ideal for gliding pens and rubber shoes, it keeps water out and allows calipers to work unhindered for up to 5 years. This material is also great for weatherproofing around doors to keep the rubber soft and resilient so it won't crack and tear in the future. For a man who claims anti-seize has always worked for him, his standards are below mine. In my experience, over time the anti-seize…

Sil-Glyde - Good stuff - Used for many years

I somehow lost/misplaced my tube of this stuff that I've had for years. I think I paid about the same for this larger pipe as I paid for the smaller version many years ago. I use it for a variety of purposes: weatherstrips, belt strips, lubrication, brake guides, etc. Doesn't curl like many other belt threading products and resists "washing out". I recently replaced a rear tire on my Harley CVO Road King and got a whine because the drive belt was a little tight. Wiped a small amount off the…

I use it for almost everything

Excellent lubrication. I've used "Brake Slide" Silicone Ceramic Grease in the past on a lot of things like bushings for extra protection and while it has worked, it's a much better option since it's just pure silicone. they are healthy and do not lick. I use it on pressure washer fittings so the ports slide easily and seal well. It calms creaking drive belts. It does not wash off in the rain (but yellows a bit). It works great as a dielectric lubricant. I use it to lubricate the seals on my…

The best there is for brakes! cash no!

After using MANY different brake lubes with little satisfaction on both NOISE and COMPONENT SEALING. Driving conditions I'm throwing my old greases in the trash and will be using Sil-Glyde from now on. The reason I throw away old greases is because I don't want to be held responsible for giving a poor quality product to a friend knowing I should have recommended this Sil-Glyde to them. An 8 ounce tube will last the average homeowner for a lifetime! HEALTHY TIP: I also buy this in very handy…
