As an ASE technician with 20 years of experience, this stuff is the secret to great braking performance. Ideal for gliding pens and rubber shoes, it keeps water out and allows calipers to work unhindered for up to 5 years. This material is also great for weatherproofing around doors to keep the rubber soft and resilient so it won't crack and tear in the future. For a man who claims anti-seize has always worked for him, his standards are below mine. In my experience, over time the anti-seize surface becomes hard and dry, almost like cement, causing the drive pins to bind. It is designed for screw threads, not for high braking temperatures. He's also not friendly to rubber.
