Remote in perfect condition just put batteries in and you're done, no additional programming required at a super price of $11 with free shipping (you must be a primary member for free shipping) if you're thinking of a aftermarket programmable multifunctional remote control, go for it not, he will not control it (I called the manufacturer). I've tried the downloadable Harmony remote with no success.
