Do not buy! No drivers!

Waste of money due to very poor workmanship. Cheap plastic and bad metal. The power connector is held in place by ultra-soft plastic that tears like paper. In the image above, this is the force of two fingers. First connection attempt. In 20 years of working in IT I have never seen anything so low. Also, anyone who complains about drivers is correct. NOT PLUG AND PLAY! There are also no drivers on their website. There are no model numbers on the card to refer to. In fact, this is repackaged…

The recommended driver does not work

The driver recommended by the manufacturer does not recognize the expansion card and does not install drivers on Windows 10. I have searched the Internet for other driver versions and they seem to install but not with the Execute launch. Windows installs its own driver, which sometimes works. With this expansion card installed, my system reboots every time I select Windows to shut down. I have to manually turn off the switch on the PSU to turn it off just before rebooting. Very annoying and…

Plug and play for Linux and Windows 10 PCs

Bought 2.1 for an old machine from 2012 (Core the 2. Both were immediately recognized by the OS without any driver update and both worked great. I don't know why the boards weren't working on some browsers aren't they connected to the network you MUST power it with a chassis fan connector (big old white plastic 4 pin Molex connector) the ports on the card worked and I connected the USB3 connector on the case to the connector on the board and that worked too.Very happy with both!

Renesas drivers required for this board to work with Windows 10 Pro

I built a new computer with a motherboard with no USB 3.x ports. Operating system - Windows 10 Pro. Bought this card. Add help ports. This card didn't work. There are no drivers. I ended up buying two more other USB 3.x cards. They didn't work either. But one of the new boards had a CD-ROM with Renesas USB 3.x drivers. Renesas drivers work well with this board. Now the USB 3.x ports are working properly. So 4 stars for this board because it works. Had it arrived with Win 10 drivers I would have

Only works partially. "Device not migrated " error in event log.

I bought this to provide a 20 pin USB 3.0 port for an internal memory card reader (Vantec, not that it matters). This board requires a 4-pin Molex power connector. From the description it is clear that this is optional. After installation, I checked Device Manager and the event log showed a "device not migrated" error for the new generic USB device. I tested two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and they worked. However, the memory card reader only worked partially. The USB 3.0 Type-A port worked…
