Only works partially. "Device not migrated " error in event log.

I bought this to provide a 20 pin USB 3.0 port for an internal memory card reader (Vantec, not that it matters). This board requires a 4-pin Molex power connector. From the description it is clear that this is optional. After installation, I checked Device Manager and the event log showed a "device not migrated" error for the new generic USB device. I tested two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and they worked. However, the memory card reader only worked partially. The USB 3.0 Type-A port worked flawlessly, as did the SD and micro SD card slots. However, the CF (Compact Flash) card reader could not read CF cards. I replaced the PCI-E USB 3.0 card with another one (PCI-E X1 2-Port USB 3.0 19-pin, PCI Express Dual USB 20-pin). 3.0 Card ) and everything worked as it should. There is also no more "device not migrated" error. The new card had two internal 20-pin connectors and no USB Type-A connectors, but I still didn't need them.
